COMMUNION
with
THE FALL
Upon the dawn of the Autumnal Equinox, The Leaves commune with the entity of season, The Fall.
Blessings of The Fall: Rot
Leaves partake with ceremonious excitement as we receive the Blessings of The Fall.
Blessings of The Fall: Cessation
No longer of body, we are softly rendered lifeless upon landing.
The Warp of St. Wood
The mark descended from the first Arbor that bore communion with The Fall. Most, not all, are now born knowing the melody. As we comprehend it, Rustling.
Blessings of The Fall: Decay
Nestled within the Boundless Graveyard, all deteriorate.
Graveyard of Leaves
A Crown-in-Waiting
The Barbs and their Thorns entangle the leaves before reaching the Graveyard. The superior torment, a supplication to The Fall.
Being hardier than the leaves, Briars, Thorns, and Barbs naturally resist the call of The Fall. Thus, to approach closer to communion, they live vicariously through the prolonged torture of Blessed Leaves. Pain disavows the body and it's construct.
Arboreal Eucharist
While we descend from the Canopy, we remember.
Our eruption from the Arbor's body,
until we felt the final touch of it's branches.
The secret incantation,
The sweetest word I can say...
All succumb to the call of The Fall.
Rememberance
